SSPC QP3 Certified
Yellow Creek Coating Services (YCCS) has been applying a wide variety of marine and industrial coatings as an SSPC QP3 certified coater since 2013. We have applied coatings to pipe, sheet piles, and beams for hundreds of projects throughout the country. Most of these projects had oversight from both private and public entities, including but not limited to USACE, FLDOT, Caltrans, TXDOT, LADOTD, MDOT, and others.
We employ Pangborn Centrifugal Blast cabinets that can achieve an SSPC-SP 5 White Blast to sheet piles, beams, and pipe up to 48″ OD. For larger diameter pipe, we blast clean the pipe outside, then bring it indoors to be coated. Coating indoors allows us to consistently paint year round , regardless of what mother nature throws at us.
We can apply practically any primer, zinc primer, epoxy, or urethane paint system, including 100% solid paints. We also have the capability to paint the inside of pipes ranging from 36″ OD and up.
YCCS also has welding and fabrication capabilities. We can attach end plates, conical points, sheet pile connectors, stiffeners, etc. utilizing Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW) and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) processes.
